Shootin Time!

So today Corey and I, being the good Republicans we are, went shooting. We went just outside of Vegas. It was fun!! Beware of the Schmutz's...we are trouble.

A Little Update!!

So, I am officially a little worker again. I just got a new job and start on Monday. I am going to be a social worker at TLC. The nice thing about this is it is right by Green Valley High School and like 10 minutes from my house. I'm pretty excited about this job, so we will see!

What?!?! The Rebels Actually Won!!

Okay, so this weekend we went to the opening football game for the Rebels. Surprisingly, UNLV won (we were playing Utah State). Hopefully the Rebels will do better than their last season where they won all of 2 games! It was fun to just to relax and watch the game and enjoy the beautiful weather.

I'm really sad to see the Olympics come to a close. I don't know what to do with myself at night now. I guess I can start getting some sleep, since it kept me up late every night. Bye Beijing!

Countdown to Sooner Football!

There will be one big thing we will miss about Oklahoma and that is Sooner Football! They are already ranked 5th in the pre-season poll. The time is fast approaching when we can watch OU dominate the Big 12 again. Go Sooners!! The countdown begins.

Finally Home!

After a week of packing, 20 hours of driving, and unpacking, we made it back home to Las Vegas! We made the torturous drive through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. Now that we've been here for a few days it feels like we never left. We are definitely excited to be close to friends and family again. It has been a very crazy month of traveling and funerals and internships, but now we are finally in one place. We moved into a brand new apartment and love it (I'll post pictures later). Corey starts school on Thursday...poor guy. I am just looking for jobs and am excited about finding one that I will like. Below are some pictures from the month. I didn't take any pictures from moving and driving because I hope not to remember that time and that drive.

OKC...Vegas...Salt Lake...Vegas...OKC...Vegas!!!!

Yes, just like the name of this post I am going to be in all those places within one weeks time. Our lives have been a crazy blur this past month and it has only been getting crazier the last few days. My Grandpa passed away on Monday (love you and miss you G-pa), so now I am in Vegas with Corey. Corey is going back to OKC on Sat and I am heading up to Utah for the funeral. Corey has to go home to pack up the entire house. After Utah, I am going back to Vegas and then flying back to OKC. Then we turn around the very next day to drive across the western half of the United States back to Vegas. Wow, that is confusing. I can't wait till we are settled somewhere for good. This week is super crazy and I can't even begin to think about how our place isn't packed up right now at all and we are moving in less than a week. I'll put up some pictures later after all the craziness settles and we are back to our normal lives.
