A Trip to the Dam

It has been a while since I last updated the blog, sorry about that. We really haven't done too much to even make a blog entry. Our lives basically consist of three things during this time of year...1. School 2. Work 3. UNLV Basketball

1. Corey is in his second semester of the second year of law school. He is more that half way done and can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. We will probably even start a countdown to graduation.
2. I am working as a social worker at a nursing home and love it. I am coming up on 6 months of working there. It is busy but I am enjoying it a lot.
3. UNLV basketball takes up ALL of our extra time. Between going to all the home games and watching all the away games on tv...we really have no other free time. But we wouldn't have it any other way.

On Valentine's we decided to drive to Hoover Dam! We both hadn't been there in a while. Here are some pictures from the trip. I was way too scared to look over the dam. My stupid fear of heights.

Here I am with the backside of Hoover Dam in the distance.

This is the new bridge that is still under construction. It is going to go over Hoover Dam thousands of feet in the air. This picture doesn't even show it justice. It was freaking me out because there were workers working out on it.

Hoover Dam again

Bye Hoover Dam...we were off to the Rebel game after this!

Hi guys! We miss you here in OK! I've always wanted to go to Hoover Dam, it's so big! Anyways, loved the pictures... and wish I was in that nice weather.

We went to Hoover Dam a while ago as well. We need to get together again. Chris wants to go shooting. He just replaced his gun that was stolen. Talk to you soon.
